Legacy and Inspiration

These collections of Cameron's early digital photographs were taken as he taught himself the art of photography. Originally finding fascination with astrophotography and nightscapes, he slowly expanded into other genres, building his collection of equipment and knowledge of photography to create all manner of images. These photographs were largely taken for their own sake rather than being part of larger projects, building a portfolio of beautiful nature scenes which would define Cameron's early career. Always striving for technical excellence, these photos would be printed and sold to fund his initial forays into more traditional forms of photography as he took an interest in handcrafted printing.

These galleries manifest the essence of discovery inherent to practicing photography for its own sake, often serving as inspiration for Cameron's newer work while reminding him to spend time in the legendary landscapes he calls home.
